How to Overcome your Subconscious Programming

We have all been conditioned by our past experiences. Over time, they shape our personalities and unconscious behavior patterns. Habits rule our life. From the way your brush your teeth to the way you speak to your children.

It's all a part of the program. The download. Memories, emotions, and experiences.

What if your program is faulty? What if you picked up on negative cues and experienced painful emotions as you were growing up? What if you are unaware that your way of thinking is sabotaging your own peace and happiness?! Maybe, you know this, but don't know how to stop it.

I have good news! You can raise your level of consciousness and learn how to overcome your subconscious program and reprogram a new way of thinking, feeling, and acting. There is hope. There is light and love available to you--right now!

Tip #1 - Pay attention to your way of thinking

Take inventory of the thoughts that run through your mind on a daily basis. Notice when you think of a disempowering thought. Write it down. TAG IT! Pay attention to your thoughts around certain people and within certain situations. Anytime you notice a negative way of thinking... write it down. TAG IT! This is the first step to gaining control over your life and your results. You must gain control of your mind. Notice the thoughts that pass through your mind. Notice where they come from. What brings them to your mind? Get really curious about this. Humans think an average of 60,000 thoughts per day and 80% are negative. It's time to shift your mindset.

Tip #2 - Notice the way your thoughts make you feel

It sounds so simple and almost elementary. However, this process is extremely critical for your personal development and does take time. For the majority of our lives, we walk around on autopilot. Our subconscious mind runs the show. The feelings you feel are activated by the electrical impulses in your brain (i.e., your thoughts). Once you pay attention to your way of thinking, the next step is to identify how your thoughts make you feel. You must do this in the present moment. The moment in which you feel that sensation (positive or negative). Write it down. TAG IT!

You will be consciously mapping out your way of thinking and feeling. According to the Law of Cause and Effect, our thoughts create our feelings... and our feelings create our actions...

or, Reactions!

Your actions or reactions end up becoming your results. So, if you are not happy with the results in your current life then you must begin noticing your way of thinking and feeling. This can also be referred to as The Results Formula!

Tip #3 - Bring your consciousness back to the present

Once you have taken the time to notice your way of thinking and feeling then you can sit back and reflect. Did you notice any recurring patterns? Did you notice that your state of being shifted in different situations or around different people? What are your key takeaways from this exercise? Write them down. Identify those unconscious behaviors. Can you see a pattern that has formed in your life? Determine where you may need to make a shift in life. Write it down. Start a journal. Your future is worth raising your awareness of your current results to gain more power in every present moment.

Now, bring yourself back into this present moment. The power is NOW. The only time you have is this moment in time.

Now - you can raise your level of #consciousness.

Now - you can #decide to make a change.

Now - you can #connecttoyourpower and make a plan of #action.

Tip #4 - Stop allowing fear, doubt, or worry to limit your growth

The greatest #dream killers of all time are #fear, #doubt, and #worry. Like a thief in the night, they will steal more dreams than failure ever did. Don't let them steal yours. Life is a game of growth. You grow when you step outside your #comfortzone. It may be a scary place so prepare yourself for the fight. Prepare yourself for the fearful thoughts... and then remember that they are only illusions formed by your egoic mindset. They are not real. They are illusions. Doubt and worry are as well; a fictitious lens that makes us feel less powerful.

The power breathing you into this physical body is infinite and almighty. Tap into that divine spark and let the dream killers fade away while you raise your level of consciousness to your new empowering story. Start each day with a heart full of gratitude and look for #opportunities instead of #limitations.

You are learning how to tap into your innate and infinite power. It lies within you. Use your intuition to identify an egoic thought - one that is negative or disempowering... and then connect to your #spiritual power to override that thought/feeling. Use your inner strength and #willpower to rewrite your program.

Tip #5 - Retrain your mind

Congratulations, my friend! You are on your way to co-creating a new way of living. You are in control of your reality because it's based upon your beliefs, perceptions, reflections, and awareness. When you do the work outlined above then you gain more power. You gain more #confidence and #clarity of what's real and what really matters! Isn't that a nice place to start? To overcome a way of thinking that has been rooted for more than 10, 20 or even 30 years will take conscious time and effort. Don't let that fool you though. It typically takes 21 days to shift a habit and 90 days to reprogram a new way of being. That's why it is so important to get an accountability partner and join a program that offers a structured system of support and accountability.
